Cooking Club-Making Egg Tarts and Cappuccino cakes

烹饪俱乐部之做蛋挞和卡布奇诺蛋糕

On November 13th , 2014, the Grade 12s had the cooking club.

20141113日,12年级的同学们暨上周的“气球能源赛车”比赛后,作为奖励外教在晚课时间带领同学们进行了蛋糕烹饪活动。

First , Grace led the students to review the English pronunciation of the materials and ingredients to be used, then they began their work . First, we made egg tarts by following the recipe procedures. The students bated the eggs, and mixed some sugar, and butter, etc., under the guidance of the Chef Diana, students are skilled to do each step. After 20 minutes of waiting, the delicious egg tarts are finally ready, everyone is happy enjoying their success!
 首先外教Grace带领同学们复习所用材料的英文发音,然后同学们分工开始。第一项是做蛋挞水,打鸡蛋、放糖、奶油等等,在主厨Diana的带领下,同学们娴熟的做着每一个步骤,在20分钟的等待后,香喷喷的蛋挞终于做好了,大家开心的享受着自己的胜利成果!

After a short break,we started making Cappuccino Cup Cakes. We followed the procedures on the recipe book like beat the eggs, butter, melted chocolate, coffee powder, and wheat flour, etc., Cup- making is much more complicated, every step and materials weighing scale is strictly in accordance with the requirements of the chef, the little chefs are busy doing the exact measurements. At last, 35 cup cakes are put in to the oven, and then we started making cream for the cake.

 片刻休息后我们又开始了卡布奇诺蛋糕的制作,打鸡蛋、黄油、融化巧克力、冲咖啡粉,和面粉等等,蛋糕的制作明显要复杂很多,每一个步骤和材料的称量比例都严格按照主厨的要求,小厨师们紧张地忙活着。最后35个小蛋糕进入烤箱,此时小厨师们开始制作奶油为蛋糕增光添彩。


After decorating the cakes, G12s share their food to the faculty and staff and they were so amazed as how the G12's made it. Great job, grade 12's.

 细心的同学们还向每一位老师分享了他们的美食,开心的烹饪课在老师们的认可和称赞后愉快地结束了,相信我们的小厨师们在出国后可以学习更多的西方美食!
