The 4th Dec，Friday，inthe spirit of being “environmentally friendly,” we chose 12 student representatives to be the leaders of environmental protection for each class. Therefore, we took all of the student representatives to the Alpla (Hefei) Plastic Company.
This company was founded in Austria. The general manager of the China branch, Mr. Yu, warmly welcomed our staff and students by giving us a personal presentation. From Mr.Yu’s speech, we learned how to manufacture items using plastic and how this company contributes to the ever-growing group of companies who aim to protect the environment. Ever since 2006, they have done business in China. Their work involved making plastic bottles for commercial items, such as detergents andwater. Also, since working in China, they have accomplished saving around 20%-30% of their plastics in order to conserve the amount of material.
After the manager’s presentation, we were granted access to the facility for a tour and we witnessed first-hand how these machines operate. We are appreciative to have experienced this trip and will continue to enforce the concept of environmental protection to our students. In the future, we shall organize more activities, such as this one, in order to promote awareness amongst our community.
12月4日，周五，为了实践学校一系列环保构想，我们特意从每个班选出一个环保小卫士，组成十二人的环保小组，来到合肥阿普拉塑料制品有限公司参观和学习。
这是一个奥地利公司，合肥分公司的总经理余先生对我校学生和老师的到来给予了热烈的欢迎，并亲自给我们展示了ppt演讲，让我们了解到一件普通的塑料瓶子是如何被生产出来的，以及作为一个塑料生产厂家是如何做好环保措施的。自从2006年阿普拉进入中国以来，通过提高工艺技术，他们将生产与前期相同数量产品的塑料用量减少了20%-30%。
余总在介绍完之后还带领我们的环保小卫士参观了生产车间，让我们亲眼看到塑料制品一步步的生产流程，让学生们惊叹不已，并且更加意识到环保的重要性！今后我们还会做一些列的环保活动来加强学生的环保意识！
