Yihan's experience

I heard about the Summer School at Warwick from the website of Renmin University of China. I was attracted by the idea of being able to study in an international environment and to a high academic standard. I selected the UK because of its reputation for academic achievements and research. Warwick was my preferred university because of its high reputation and because a professor recommended it. Most importantly, I want to continue a Master’s degree study in Warwick. When I arrived in the UK, Warwick was very easy to find and the public transportation was convenient.

I found the course helpful in shaping my awareness of global business and integration. It offered me an opportunity to develop my critical thinking and to see things from different aspects. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of how global business works as a whole system, develop my innovative thinking, my knowledge of Warwick, as well as encountering different kinds of cultures.

My accommodation was good and comfortable. There was plenty of space and sunshine in my room. The campus has beautiful views and lovely rabbits and the sports and social facilities are good. There are nice people everywhere.

If someone told me they were considering studying at Warwick Summer School, I would say it’s a really great chance to study here. And it’s a precious experience.
