Making travel arrangements and appointments with hoteliers for the hotel contractors
Preparing and printing of statistics
Analysing and comparing rates of suppliers and competitors
Preparing hotel contracts and documents
Meeting and greeting visiting hoteliers
Cross-checking and following up on all bookings, billings and payments
Completing general correspondence and filing
Fluent English plus fluent Chinese Mandarin a must
A person with some experience in the travel industry or equivalent
A European language beneficial but not essential
Good numeracy and accuracy skills
Ability to work under pressure and willing to meet deadlines
Good keyboard skills and experience of using Microsoft Office & social media applications
Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
Friendly and efficient telephone mannersA sound knowledge of geography and currencies
Professional with excellent interpersonal skills
Customer relations experience preferred

" Liaise with Procurement team for the daily work;
" Support buyers for the material orders, plant and equipment hire purchase;
" Working within the procurement team to develop standard procedures and processes in procurement to maximize efficiency, increase consistency and reduce duplication;
" Ensure every procurement request from UK sites and Overseas are fully completed;
" Creating a benchmark supplier base, working closely together with the suppliers optimizing their cost, quality and delivery performance;
" Logistics, Export and Import activities;
" Delivery of business cost reduction targets of projects;
" Project budget control and management of payment terms;
" To maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and develop new suppliers;
" Support tendering and estimating price work, if required;
" To assist in procurement fields of European market, if required.
" Excellent both English and Chinese language, communication and negotiation skills are essential;
" Self motivated and the ability to work effectively with a team environment;
" Work experience within Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Accounting and Science industry will be an advantage.
