We help Chinese investors succeed in cross-border M&A, providing buy-side advisory services in China and sell-side sourcing in London, supported by a proprietary, digital deal management system.
DG Capital (dgcapital.co.uk) provides advisory services with DealGlobe (dealglobe.com) delivering cloud based deal management system to manage the M&A process between Chinese investors and global sellers.
The CSM is responsible for managing customer success and acquiring new customers from professional service firms in corporate finance, with the overall objective of increasing the flow of quality M&A opportunities to meet the needs of our fast increasing subscriber client base in China.
- Support of effective customer relationships for the continual development of activity levels of customers (sell-side vendor advisors) viewing Chinese buyers and submitting deals through the DealGlobe Connect System (DCS) to achieve activity KPI’s for deal flow to subscribers in China
- Monitoring customer utilisation of the DCS to identify process and product improvements
- Supporting development of service level agreements with sell side customers in Europe & the customer success team in China to ensure that user expectations are understood and reflected in an agreed process
- Process management of customer activity of the DCS on sell-side in Europe with customer success team for the buyers in China to ensure that information & procedural steps are undertaken efficiently and within customer SLA’s
- To specifically support bi-lateral matches (seller / buyer choose a deal to progress) and ensure that service levels through the deal development roadmap are delivered both UK & China to maximise the potential to convert a deal
- Performance tracking, dashboard & C-SAT management
- Ongoing development of the target customer database
- Undertaking regular outbound contact to initiate new customer relationships through direct marketing and telephone contact to arrange introductory meetings
- Identifying product & service improvements to increase the relevance of our proposition to customers
- Using the DealGlobe Marketplace, information systems such as MergerMarket and development of third party relationships to pro-actively identify and package deal opportunities to the CS team in China
- To directly reach out to all possible sources of deal flow to generate new opportunities to present to the CS team in China
- To support the operation of the CRM programme to develop, maintain or restart customer relationships
- To maintain the customer database (alongside the target customer database)
- Graduate level education
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience gained in an established European business, ideally in corporate finance or M&A
- Amazing record of BD / customer success and management of longer term client relationships
- An accomplished communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Amazing organisational skills, with a real attention to detail
- Confident, outgoing, genuinely enjoys building new customer relationships as well as maintaining existing ones
- Great IT Skills, including use of ICT packages i.e. Word, Excel, Power point and Access
- A winning spirit that eats pressure and meets meet targets and deadlines with humour & passion
- This role focuses on UK / Europe and requires native-level English language proficiency
- An additional major European language
- Mandarin desirable but not key
