Thames Premier Service Limited is now seeking an enthusiastic, multi-lingual, and highly-motivated professional to join our team as a Business Development manager focus on China market. A natural forward planner who is capable of work towards a shared vision which adds value to the existing activity of the team, the post holder is also self-driven, agile, professional, professional, authentic and team-oriented.
This challenging post will attract applicants that have demonstrated experience of working with Chinese clients. It is essential that the post holder have experiences in International student recruitments and familiar with the UK education system. You must also have strong translation skills from English to Chinese language.
The post holder will be required to undertake extensive international travel to China and must bring with them the proven ability to build Chinese relationships in a variety of geographic and cultural contexts.
- Work as a Business Development Manager for the UK and China market
- Liaises with other senior staff to determine the range of services to be sold, contributes to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets
- Discusses employer's customers’ requirements, carries out surveys and analyses customers' reactions to products, services and price, etc.
- Compiles and analyses sales figures, prepares proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities and undertakes market research
- Handles customer accounts and need to effectively communicate with the client; to follow up new business opportunities and setting up meeting planning and preparing presentations and promote the company’s services to potential clients
- Recruits and trains junior sales staff; overseeing and supervising the development of marketing literature
- Produces report and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management; Keeps up to date with products and competitors
- Undergraduate degree qualified or above (preferably a business discipline)
- Must be fluent in both English and Chinese
- Education service experiences are required
- International student recruitment experiences are required
- 3+ years International Business Development experiences
- Previous successful sales / business development experience; including proven experience in commercial negotiations with C-level decision makers
- Solid understanding of business concepts and the current business environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to create and deliver convincing arguments to an executive audience
- Superior time managment skills and strong attention to detail
- Extrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in highly flexible, rapidly changing work exvironment
- Availability for international travel
