Various activities of 2016 International Education Summer Camp began along a new day. Students from Canada have been treated with love and care in home-stay families.

After gathering at 9:30 a.m., all the students from Canada were divided into three groups to experience Chinese-featured courses, including Mandarin, Chinese Painting

and Tea Art. These courses are designed to help students from Canada experience Chinese traditional culture. The Students learn to use daily Chinese expressions in

Mandarin class. They were also interested in Chinese painting and eager to share their paintings. Moreover, all the students were actively participating in the

activities in the tea art class.

Chinese-featured courses ended at about 12 O’clock. After cleaning the classroom, all came to the cafeteria to enjoy the lunch.

After a short break, all the campers went to Anhui Provincial Museum and Geological Museum. First, campers started to visit Geological Museum with the help of the

tourist guide who spoke English for them. All of them were greatly impressed by those rare geological specimens. The guide also introduced geological knowledge about

Anhui Province. Then they came to Provincial Museum, which boasts a large collection of cultural relics. After visiting, all the students from Canada have gained deeper

understanding of the history of China, especially that of Anhui Province.

As the museum closes at 5 O’clock p.m., all the campers gathered in advance in the lobby and had a group photo taken. The dinner and activities for the evenings would

be also arranged by home-stay families, facilitating their mutual understanding.

Today marked a wonderful beginning of the summer camp. Wish all the students from Canada a happy and unforgettable journey to Fantawild Adventure in Wuhu tomorrow.
