Hyperama plc are one of the leading importers and suppliers of Ethnic food in the UK. From small beginnings in Nottingham in 1976, the company now operates from 4 depots in the Midlands. The company is looking for a new Business Development Manager / Sales Representative in West Bromwich.

-   The principle responsibility of the role is to acquire new business, both from a pre-defined prospect list of customers and from your own initiative

-   The candidate will also be responsible for developing customer accounts and maintaining good relations with the customer

-   ‪The role will require face to face contact with customers

-   In store and out of store sales targets

-   The hours worked may be flexible but in line with the availability of the customers

-   Have experience in selling to small and independent retailers

The candidate will need to:

-   ‪Be self-motivated

-   Be approachable and a strong communicator

-   Have a flexible approach to working patterns

-   ‪Enjoy a field-based role

-   Have experience in retail / independent food market and the wholesale industry

-   Have prior sales experience

-   ‪Have an existing portfolio of customers as an advantage

-   Have good negotiation skills

-   ‪Demonstrate their ability to hit sales targets

-    ‪Cantonese and/or Mandarin Speaking would be an advantage
