This degree program is project-based and requires completion of 7 courses (21 credits) and the seminar course ECED 6900. A final project is also required, including an oral defending presentation for your project report at the end of the program.

A student may choose relevant courses from within the Department, or after consultation with the supervisor, from other Departments and Colleges. Each student must register in a Seminar course, EE990, as well as a Research course, EE992 (M.Eng.). This has to be done for each term, regardless of how long the student has been registered.

Depending on which option the student selects, the objective of the MEng program can be achieved through either a combination of course work and a project or solely course work. MEng students have exposure to research through projects included in most of the graduate courses.
For the project option, students must complete seven courses worth a total of 21 credits and a project worth nine credits (ENGR 5002G - MEng/MEngM Project).
