The recent advancement of the internet has resulted in several breakthroughs. Nowadays, everyone can shop, work and communicate remotely through the internet without any face-to-face contact. This, according to me, is largely a positive development due to its multitude of benefits.
Firstly, and most importantly, the development of shopping, communicating and working via the internet has made the world a smaller place by bringing people from different backgrounds together. These every day facilities through the internet have opened individuals to distinct cultures, making them more culturally aware and building a close-knit community. For instance, it is now possible for people in Australia to coordinate work and converse with individuals across the globe, whether in India or Brazil, allowing Australians, Indians and Brazilians to get multi-cultural exposure and build international relationships.
Secondly, the ability to shop, work and communicate online has resulted in an extensive network of convenience and ease. Now that people can communicate with their loved ones as well as colleagues over the internet, there are no physical barriers to communication. For example, people living miles and oceans away from their family can still stay connected to their parents and other family members regardless of the distance. Similarly, online shopping has made shopping a hassle-free activity as no one has to visit or browse through brick and mortar shops physically, saving a great deal of resources, times and effort for each person.
In conclusion, in my view, the development of the virtual world of shopping, working and communicating online without the need for direct contact is definitely a positive one as it has brought not only convenience to all, but also cultural openness to the world.

一些native的表达
虽然用词不难
但是就是非常‘漂亮’的写法
这就代表着

不是靠大词难词硬凑的
‘适合’比‘硬凑’更能得高分~
