Dear Parents, 

The Canadian International School of Hefei starts classes again on Monday, August 20th morning and at CISH we are excited! Classes begin at 8:30 sharp. All students may go to breakfast before 8:30 AM if they like! 

We need your help.  CISH is pleased this year to have Facial Recognition at our front gate of our school entrance. This means we can now identify parents and children by using this special program. This is definitely another safety to keep our students’ safe. 

In order for FACIAL RECOGNITION TO HAPPEN:

For parents bringing in your child in the morning or picking your child up after school, we need to take a picture of you and your child. Once we take your picture we will be able to add this record to the FACIAL RECOGNITION program and then it gives permission for you to be able to enter CISH school property and pick up your child.  If you are picking up your child, (this means your child does not take the school bus) we will be taking pictures of each parent and their child all this week starting Monday in the plant room from 7:45AM until 9:00 AM.  So if you need your picture taken for Facial Recognition just stop by. WE would like to try the following schedule：

Monday -Kindergarten parents and children only

Tuesday- Grade 1 parents and students

Wednesday- Grade 2 parents and students

Thursday- Grades 3 to 5 parents and students

Friday- Grades 6 to 12 parents and students

THIS SCHEDULE IS ONLY FOR PARENTS WHOSE CHILDREN ARE NOT TAKING THE BUS.

FOR ANY NEW PARENTS-

We will open our plant room and serve tea, coffee and juice . If you would like to chat with other parents please just join us in the plant room. You can relax while your child gets a chance to meet their new teacher. I know first day of school in kindergarten and elementary are major experiences and turning points for moms and dads.

After this the After School Program (ASA) begins on September 3rd.

本学期CISH将在本学年设置人脸识别系统。我们的学生和家长在进入学校大门时使用这个安全系统可以进一步保障我们学生的安全。为此，我们期待您的协助。

为了更好的设置这个人脸识别系统:

我们需要为早上送学生和下午接学生的家长和您的孩子拍一张电子照片。当我们将您的照片录到人脸识别系统里后，您将获得权限进入合肥加拿大国际学校接送您的孩子。如果您是接送孩子（这意味着您的孩子不坐校车），请在8月20日起这周早上7:45-9:00之间带孩子到一楼生态厅拍照。为了维持更好的拍照秩序，我们需要您根据以下时间计划进行配合：

周一-幼儿园家长和学生

周二-一年级家长和学生

周三-二年级家长和学生

周四-三年级-五年级家长和学生

周五-六年级-十二年级家长和学生

这个识别系统的设置只针对不坐校车的学生家长。

新生家长-

我们将开放生态厅并提供茶，咖啡和果汁。如果您乐意和其他的家长进行洽谈可以加入我们。您可以在您的孩子见他们老师的同时享受这轻松一刻。我明白开学的第一天特别对于幼儿园的爸爸妈妈来说是一个重要的转折点。
