Model Answer:
I have seen many art works in the past, but something really grabbed my attention when I visited the Melbourne Museum a few days ago. It was a golden chair that dates back to1000BC, so extremely rare and ancient and therefore precious! I was told that there are only 4 of these made ever and the other three remain in China, the US and Egypt.
This chair was so special and it was not the gold platted surface that caught my eyes, it was the way it was shaped and designed that I have never seen anything like it before. I own an antique furniture store in my area so I am pretty obsessed and into things like that. I look at them in a very different way than other people do. To me, this chair was more than just a piece of furniture. It had complicated patterns of men and women warriors back in the first Chinese Dynasty and it also had some very strange symbols hacked onto it, so mysterious that I couldn’t make any sense out of it!
So I decided to look it up on my smartphone and read more about it on Google and I found out that this chair was used by some of the most notorious warriors from all over the planet. In fact, there is a story about a massive invasion by the Mongol Empire so that they could just steal the chair away from its rightful owners to get a taste of what it feels like to sit on it! Hard to believe isn’t it? So I think a lot of people have died in the past to protect this chair and this is something that means a lot to me and that’s why I have so much respect for this piece of art.
Another thing that impressed me quite a lot was the number of pink and dark blue diamond’s that the chair had on its sides! I have never seen so many diamond’s in one place and apparently each one of these diamonds came from a different country to be assembled. So then again, a lot of manpower and hard work was put into this chair.
Overall, this chair is absolutely the best and the most special one I have ever witnessed and I honestly don’t think words are enough to describe how amazing this art work is. All I can think of is that how this chair survived for so long and how lucky I am to see it since there are only 4 museums in the world that keep these chairs you know. I highly recommend everyone to take a look at this magnificent work of art for themselves and see how phenomenal this particular chair is!
