2015年9月伦敦玛丽女王大学的医学院将新增两门本科课程：药理学和创新疗法学士课程，神经科学学士课程，这两门课程由我校牙医与医学院和生化学院联合授课，将着重培养学生在生命科学领域的发展与研究。课程介绍如下：

BSc Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics

Students learn how drugs and medicines work at the cellular and sub-cellular level to produce their useful (and sometimes harmful) effects in humans and how medicines are used to treat or prevent illness. The course covers the process of developing new medicines from basic research on the effects of drugs on cells, to testing in humans, safety and regulation, and surveillance of drugs already in use. Graduates will go on to work in a wide variety of careers, for example research roles in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries or universities, or progress to studying medicine and dentistry.

BSc Neuroscience

The course will give students a comprehensive understanding of one of the fastest growing areas in biomedicine – neuroscience. Students will study the nervous system and, most notably, the brain, and will have options to explore other topics within biomedical sciences and psychology. Neuroscience graduates will go on to work in a wide variety of careers, for example neuroscience and pharmaceutical research within industry, the commercial or public sector, or progress to studying medicine and dentistry.
