相信生活在墨尔本的小留学生们以及各路华人们都知道Myer每年的圣诞橱窗都非常的有名！每年到12月-1月初，Bourke Street的Myer橱窗都会展示不同的故事，吸引了很多很多孩子以及大人前来观看哦！~
今年是Myer橱窗（Christmas animated windows）60岁的生日啦！今年在橱窗前排队的人潮更是胜于往年。那么，今年animated windows讲述的又是怎样的故事呢？且听一一道来！
今年Myer 的橱窗，showcases an animated tribute to Melbourne based on the popular children’s book Little Dog and the Christmas Wish.
今年的场景，设定于1956年的Christmas Eve。看过橱窗的童鞋们会发现，今年有很多墨尔本著名的景点(Melbourne’s most iconic sties) 哦！例如，Flinders Street Station，The Block Arcade, The Hopetoun Tea Room and the Skipping Girl Vinegar Neon Sign in Richmond. 相信这些景点，小墨们应该都非常的熟悉。

那么，今年为什么会用Little Dog and Christmas Wish这个Idea呢？
作者Corinne Fenton的原话是：Christmas is usually a time that animal shelters experience an influx of pets. The idea of a little dog, lost and alone in a busy city on Christmas Eve, kept echoing in my head. As a child of the 50s, I set the story in Melbourne, in 1956. I imagined the city decorated for Christmas, and such iconic sites as Collins Street and the Block Arcade, Flinders Street Station, and how wonderful it would have been.
Little Dog and Christmas Wish这本书讲述了一个Charming (迷人的) and nostalgic (乡愁的，怀旧的) Christmas Story about a much loved little dog who finds his way home for Christmas. Little Dog和Jonathan是一对很好很好的朋友，they do everything together. 但是在圣诞夜那一天，Little Dog发现他在一个繁忙的城市中迷了路。全书讲述的就是它如何找到回家的路，它的圣诞愿望又是否成真的故事。虽说只是一本小小的故事书，却能感受到其中作者表达的那种温暖的感觉，a warm message.
听完了这个圣诞的小故事，今天又是2015年最后一场A类G类的大考试，相信大家都已经该放松的就放松，心都飘远啦！
