Requirement to undertake duties for more than one CCB entity. CCBL and the Branch are part of the same group of companies. You may be required:

Your expected split of time spent carrying out duties for each entity will be as follows: CCBL - 25%; Branch - 75% | |||
Role Purpose | |||
To provide support to senior risk managers in the daily production and checking of market and credit risk reports for the Bank and the Branch, and the monthly production of reports and management information for the Bank’s and Branch’s management committees and for HO.

Key Responsibilities for CCBL (but not limited to): | |||
- Accurate production and checking of daily market and credit risk reports, including the daily Senior Management Report. Requires review and checking of Large Exposure information provided by Finance. - Highlighting of important points to note in the daily Senior Management Report. - Accurate production and checking of monthly risk reports and management information for management committees. - End-of-day and intra-day monitoring of risks in the Kondor+, KGR and RiskMetrics systems. - Accurate daily production and checking of market data from Bloomberg. - Accurate updating of counterparties and of counterparty and country limits and ratings in RiskMetrics, Kondor+, KGR and other bank systems and reports. - If appropriate, regular and ad hoc tasks will include production of reports in Mandarin for HO and translation of reports, policies, questionnaires and HO communication from Mandarin to English and vice-versa. - Under the guidance of the Market Risk Manager, Credit Risk Manager, the Deputy Head of Risk or the Head of Risk, development and implementation of new market and credit risk reports and/or analysis, including development of stress scenarios and VaR-based models. - UAT and, where appropriate specification, of new risk reporting implemented in RiskMetrics, Kondor+, KGR and other bank systems. - Reporting will cover all business areas, including Corporate Banking, Treasury and Retail Banking. | |||

Skills, Experience and Qualifications | |||
- Will be required to start work by 07:30 to support Treasury and ensure timely production of reports and overlap with Beijing where necessary. - Fluent English required. Ability to read, write and speak Mandarin would be an advantage. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline. - Extensive knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel. - VBA skills in the Microsoft Office environment. - Knowledge of, and previous experience in, market risk or counterparty credit risk highly desirable. - Knowledge of UK regulatory environment desirable. - Previous experience of Kondor+, KGR and RiskMetrics systems desirable. - Accounting or risk professional qualification, or degree in finance/financial matehmatics desirable. |
