Describe a place you went to that was full of color
You should say
where it was
why you went there
what you did in there
and explain why you think this place was made so colorful
Describe a time you were friendly to someone you didn’t like
You should say
when and where it happened
who he or she was
why you didn’t like this person
and explain why you were friendly to him or her on that occasion
Today, my topic is to describe an ambition I have not achieved yet. Firstly, I’d like to start with the question what it is. I have been longing to learn German and as for why, the reason is quite straight forward. I am a football enthusiast(I am a football buff), my favorite national team is Germany and I am a huge fan of Klose. Believe it or not, It’s been my dream to visit Germany and talk to my hero over a couple of authentic German beers, I don’t want language to be an issue then. Speaking of when I first had this ambition, I remember it was after the last World Cup, I started paying attention to Klose and I found some interviews and documentaries about him online but unfortunately they were all in German and I could not understand a single word, which was super annoying. It was at that time that I came up with this idea to learn German.
As for why I have not achieved yet. Well, first and foremost, my priority now is to pass IELTS, university application, as well my school curriculums. I am pretty tied up with all these commitments and for the time being, I don’t think I will be able to take time out for learning a new language. Besides, Spanish study is not as prevalent as English study in my country. Therefore, there are not many study resources, like reliable training schools and experienced teachers. However, things will be completely different when I am in the US. As a matter of fact, heaps of universities have Spanish courses that students can choose as electives. I am sure I will have fun learning Spanish in a world-class university and practice it with students from Spanish-speaking countries.
