2016加拿大滑铁卢卡雷数学竞赛获奖喜报

2016年2月25日，长春市实验中学加拿大高中57名高一学生参加了由加拿大滑铁卢大学举办的卡雷（Cayley）数学竞赛.

2. 25. 2016,  Grade 10 Sino-Canadian HighSchool Students took the Cayley Math Competition which is held by University of Waterloo.

恭喜我校高一六名学生在卡雷竞赛中获奖，分别为张诗雨121分，付宇117分，张琴115分，刘雨卓112分，张誉潇111分，李跃东107分，本次获奖分数线为106分。

Six prize-winners from Grade 10:Hector (Score:121), Finn (Score: 117), Kylin(Score: 115), Charlotte (Score: 112),Rachel(Score111),Edward(Score107).

  加拿大卡雷数学竞赛是国家级的国际数学竞赛,它们与HYPATIA，GALOIS数学竞赛属于同一系列赛事，每年2月举办一次。这个竞赛由加拿大国家计算机和数学教育中心举办，主要针对高一年级的学生，满分为150分。其成绩在加拿大大学中被广泛认可，被誉为“数学托福”考试。该竞赛也已经成为世界一流大学尤其是滑铁卢数学学院各专业以及“软件工程”专业入学录取的重要指标，更是学生申请大学有利竞争优势尤其是该学院奖学金的重要考核标准。

    Cayley Math Competition is internationally held in February once a year, its national level competitions of Canada.  As the same level as HypatiaMath Competition and Galois Math Competition. This competition is organizedby the Center for Education in Mathematics and Computing and the mainparticipants are Students of Grade 10. The full score is 150.These competition is known as TOFEL in Math due to its significance in Canadian universities. And these competition is also important reference for students who apply for scholarships and mathematics and software engineering ofthe University of Waterloo and other top universities all over the world.
