The New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet, International Branch, Guangzhou Office covers six south China provinces, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. NSW Government has a 37-year strong Sister-State relationship with Guangdong province. The role is to assist with the development and implementation of strategic strategies and initiatives to achieve trade and foreign direct investment (FDI) outcomes.
Key accountabilities(Detailed position description is available upon requst)
- Event management and missions
- Ministerial visits
- Trade and investment facilitation
- Industry and company research
- Other administrative supports as guided
Tertiary education and demonstrated experience in international business, and a sound understanding of the machinery of government and diplomatic functions/practices in-market. Proficiency in written and oral English and Chinese. Possessing of work and/or study experience in Australia will be a plus.
