·    Analyse financial information pertaining to the business of the company and its parent, associated and subsidiary companies, in the UK and in undertaking such analysis report to and liaise closely with the UK Chief Executive Officers (both English and Chinese speaking) and the Financial Director / Controller for the time being of the group

·    Assist the company in providing financial information to its parent company in the People's Republic of China relating to the business operations of the Group in the UK and liaising with the parent company board in China for such purpose

·    Assist in providing financial information to the parent company's banks / and financial advisors in China and liaising with such banks and advisors for the purpose of assisting the Group on its investment and financial requirements

·    Have an active involvement in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives

·    A demonstrable working knowledge of the banking and investment industries in China

·    Demonstrable experience and capability in assessing and identifying business problems, advising on strategic policies and assisting management in liaising between parent and group companies

·    Ability to keep up-to-date with UK and Chinese financial products, legislation and requirements for compliance purposes

·    A minimum of one year’s employment with a reputable company within the banking and/or financial sectors in China

·    A good command of English and fluency in Mandarin given the requirement to work closely with our parent company in China

·    Finance related degree level qualifications (or higher) taught in English and Mandarin
