Leading an Account Management team of approx. 3-4 people. Responsible for ensuring that the team achieves targets and that the company has strong long-term partnerships with all managed accounts. This involves managing business from existing accounts and developing new business streams from within those accounts. It also involves onboarding new accounts and growing business levels in line with agreed targets. The role is approximately 50% team management and 50% account development.

Constantly seeking out and following up on new business leads
· Responsible for keeping an up-to-date client profile for each managed account
· Regularly reviewing account performance with the Head Account Manager, Head of Business Relationships & Commercial Director
· To work closely with the finance department to ensure that money owed is received
· Regularly meeting assigned accounts and reviewing business opportunities
· Ensuring that the team is effectively resourced and willing to support other teams within the business unit when necessary
· Attending and representing the company at all relevant client and property networking opportunities
· Presenting to existing and potential new clients
· Ensuring that the reservation process is accurate and well controlled
· Ensuring that the reservation process is so well controlled that the Key Account Manager is free to attend client meetings at any time
· Ensuring that team training needs are identified and reported to the Team Trainer & Head Account Manager
· Handles all minor escalated complaints
Compiling formal and informal RFPs
· Responsible for ensuring the team’s quote style matches the business guidelines
· Responsible for executing the client account plan
· Keep Head Account Manager & Head of Business Relationships abreast of serious complaints
· Spot checks quotes & reservation administration
· Helps team with property recommendations
Sets an impeccable example – service, presentation, attitude
· Maintains strong relationships with property partners attending as many events as possible
· Supporting fellow account managers & other business units when required

· Experience working in Account Management within a Travel Management Company, Hotel Booking Agency or Relocation Management Company (mandatory)
· Experience working with the serviced apartment sector and an up-to-date knowledge of the sector (desirable)
· Strong communication skills
· Confident meeting clients face-to-face
· Good numeracy skills
· Strong leadership skills
· Language skills preferable (Spanish, German, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Russian, Italian or Arabic)
