In Sydney for 4 years

Best memory:

The most unforgettable memory in Sydney was that I became a member of the Chinese student association (CSA) in UNSW.

CSA is not only an amazing place for me to make friends but also a great supportive environment for me to improve and grow. When I initially joined the society, my personality was quite shy. After being a committee in the activity department for one year, I have enhanced plenty of personal aspects. Developed great leadership skills through working with partners. Able communicate to strangers with full of confidence instead of being afraid. These changes have shaped me into a much more capable person and has allowed me to become an executive for the society.

This fabulous experience presents me a colorful uni life. I really appreciate all that CSA has done for me and I will keep growing and keep pursuing a better uni life!

Worst Experience:

My worst experience in Sydney was that I missed a mid-semester exam when I was in foundation studies.

The entire incident was owing to the fact that I mistook my English examination room. I thought the exam should be held on campus, so I went there without double checking. However, the true location was in the Racecourse which was far away from the campus.

As soon as I noticed that, it was too late to regret; the exam has already begun. I felt depressed and desperate for help. Luckily I found a coordinator whom guided me to the Racecourse. Unfortunately, reading and writing parts have already finished. The only thing I could do was to attend the last listening part.

Fortunately at the end of the day, I received nice scores in other subjects which did not influence my WAM too much.

Since then, I learnt to check all things carefully and hopefully the same mistake won’t happen again.
