时尚管理(FashionManagement)是介于商科和艺术之间的专业，本质上属于管理类。美国的时尚管理专业多设置在品牌管理和时装管理2个专业里，前者集中在综合类院校的商学院下面，后者一般设置在艺术院校内。品牌管理一般集中在大学的MBA课程里，如纽约大学的Luxury Marketing就是在MBA方向下面，鉴于这个课程属于管理类，且大部分在MBA的分支下，所以申请条件可以参照MBA的难度，需要托福和GMAT成 绩。另外，时装管理专业多集中在美国的艺术设计方向下，如纽约州立FIT服装学院的Global Fashion Management专业。在艺术学院里的时装管理，是否需要GRE或者GMAT也是具体看某个学校，你像FIT（必须提供GRE或者GMAT而且要有三年的工作经验），Pratt Institute（GMAT成绩选择性递交）。同时，也需要递交作品集。这个专业也是比较注重学生的实习经历甚至是全职的相关行业经历。

The Master ofProfessional Studies in Global Fashion Management is a 36-credit graduateprogram with an innovative curriculum and distinctive classroom locations atFIT in New York, the Institut Franais de la Mode in Paris and Hong Kong PolytechnicUniversity in Hong Kong.

一共36个学分，需要在巴黎、香港和美国三个地方完整学位

需要提供GRE或者GMAT成绩。

就申请要求来讲，申请者需要提供包括TOEFL(79-100分)和GRE或GMAT，成绩单，2页长的文书，简历，2封推荐信，建议在时尚相关领域内有一定的实习和工作经验，以及面试。

如果你有艺术基础，可以考虑申请艺术类院校下面的设置的时尚管理专业，可以很好的理解产品的艺术内涵，也比较有利于增大录取率;如果没有艺术背景，又对此专业情有独钟的话，商科类的选校会是比较好的选择。
