The Opportunity
Sterling & Law Associates LLP and Sterling Lawyers is a dynamic London Alternative Business Structure (ABS) firm offering a wide range of legal services.
As part of our company’s rapid expansion, we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our firm to tackle an increasing demand in a new market. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a new department within our firm to tackle a new target market. A well rounded and proactive person, the candidate must have strong experience in UK Immigration and Emigration law with a strong background in the CIS region or the Chinese market. The candidate must have strong and proven track record in business development to cater to our challenging demands to increase our efficiency and to help with our growth.
Mandatory Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a UK Immigration law firm
- Strong track record in developing new business area within CIS or Chinese market
- Education to a Bachelor degree level in business or similar areas
- Strong background in social media marketing, understanding of SEO as well as online advertising medium such as google ads
- Must have successful track record managing a project development from inception to completion
- Experience working with clients from CIS as well as the Chinese markets
- Strong background in finance is desired
- Can communicate and negotiate business strategies and their implementation on the highest level
- Have extensive business knowledge and skills in innovative management and digitising within CIS or Chinese market
- Must have excellent verbal and communications skills to cater to clients from different region
- Have strong managerial background and organisational skills
- Must be proactive and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferable Requirements
We prefer for the ideal candidate to have the following criteria:
- Be multilingual- the candidate must be fluent in English, and in Mandarin, Cantonese or Russian
- Have developed economic mindset and expertise
- Have high level of professionalism and confidence
- Have excellent quantitative and analytical reasoning
- Be a quick and accurate thinker
