Description
We at thebigword is looking for talented Proofreaders & Copywriters with translation experience for a long-term freelance position to review translations for a high-profile IT client who is specialized in online advertising and web-based IT services.
Languages Requirement
The ideal candidate is a Native speaker of one the following languages:
- Ukrainian
- Latvian
- Korean
- German
- Chinese Traditional
- Russian
Requirements
- Who also has outstanding English skills, excellent feeling for language, shows a strong knowledge with User Interface (UI) and has at least one year of proofreading and translation experience from an IT company
- Candidates should be comfortable with CAT tools and spotting and correcting errors in software localization, help articles, marketing and advertising content
- A background in blogging and editing is a definite advantage but not essential!
Additional Information
Workload is 5-10 hours per week during an initial assessment period and can potentially rise to 15-30 hours per week upon successful completion of the initial assessment period. (Please note that this is a freelance position where you will work from home).
