Have you ever thought about what it takes to detect and prevent fraudulent purchases among hundreds of millions of e-Commerce transactions in different countries? What would you do to create a trusted marketplace where millions of buyers and sellers can safely transact online?
The Transaction Risk Management Systems (TRMS) team is charged with safeguarding all Amazon marketplaces to ensure long-term customer satisfaction with their experiences. We achieve this through a combination of automated and manual investigations of the buyers and sellers on our marketplace. Within TRMS, the quality group’s mission is to support our operations to deliver on our service standards for our customers, and with zero defects.
Job Description
The TRMS Quality team is looking for a Quality Specialist in LHR22 within the KYC team. The selected candidate will report in to a site based Quality Manager.
We are a team of passionate quality professionals and are looking for like-minded people to join this exciting area with a key focus on making a difference to the efficiency and quality of our audits.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Quality Audits & Report on QA results
Conduct process adherence based audits identifying process deviations and best practices.
Share Audit feedback with Investigators/Team managers. highlighting low, mid and focus areas where applicable.
Provide coaching tips and training suggestions to managers for targeted areas for improvement.
Produce daily, weekly and monthly analyses and reports on process adherence trends and deviation root causes at investigator, team and site levels.
Actively Monitor fraud patterns and provide risk based improvement inputs to Quality leadership, Process owners and Operational stakeholders.
Identify training gaps and communicate them to management and training.
Drive projects on automation to reduce Quality manual efforts and improve Quality yields.
Build quality tips out of Quality data mining observations.
Provide inputs to the relevant parties for SOP/Process/Tool improvements or changes (Projects & Kaizen).
Take proactive ownership when identifying process gaps/defects.
Proactively self-develop, by working with your site Quality Manager to identify Learning & Development initiatives for individual growth and site improvement.
Basic Qualifications
Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English skills with an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
Familiar with sampling methodologies to ensure the correct number of investigation audits are performed.
A firm understanding of processes at either a local or cross – functional level and associated
analytical skills.
Have basic knowledge of MS SharePoint/SQL to fetch the data needed for analysing and avoid dependency.
Have deep knowledge of Excel and experience in working with databases.
Have strong communication skills.
Prior experience working in a regulated environment with a proven track record of strong performance and leadership.
Have a proven track record of exceeding decision quality goals in a fraud/risk investigations role.
Language proficient applicable to function requirements
Preferred Qualifications
A basic knowledge of Quality Audit methodologies and tools.
Prior experience in quality auditing/coaching and development.
Understanding of specific function process, Tools / SOPs
Experience of participating in Kaizen / Process Improvements events.
