澳中理事会（The Australia-China Council）是澳大利亚政府的顾问和基金机构，致力于加强澳大利亚和中国在文化、教育、商务、人文交流以及其他各领域的关系。

本年度澳中理事会将向全澳各类机构、个人提供合计约80万澳元的资金用于上述交流合作项目。

澳中理事会将主要为符合理事会2014-18战略计划目标的各类创新型项目提供种子资金，单个项目资金不超过4万澳元，每年2月开放当年申请。本年度澳中理事会将重点关注如下领域/主题的项目申请:

• 2017中澳旅游年

• 澳大利亚与中华人民共和国建立外交关系45周年（2018年）

• 澳中理事会成立40周年（2018年）

Introduction

The Australia-China Council (ACC) is the Australian Government’s advisory and funding body dedicated to strengthening of cultural, education, business, and more broadly, people-to-people relations between Australia and China. 

In 2017/18 we will deliver around A$800,000 in grants for organisations and individuals across Australia. The Council’s funding is determined by the Government, and is subject to the scope and availability of funding in each financial year.

2017-18 Grant Round

The 2017-18 Australia-China Council Grant Round opens on 9.00am Monday 6 February and closes on 2.00pm Wednesday 19 April 2017 (AEST).

Grants at a glance

Through our annual competitive grants program, the Australia-China Council supports projects across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Australia that broaden and strengthen Australia-China relations in education, business, culture and the arts.

Australia-China Council grants provide funding of up to $40,000 for innovative proposals relevant to the objectives of the Australia-China Council Strategic Plan 2014-18). The Council will normally hold one grant round each year, opening in February. In 2017/18, we welcome grant that align with the objectives of the Strategic Plan and also support:

• China-Australia Year of Tourism 2017

• 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Australia and the People’s Republic of China (2018)

• 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Australia-China Council (2018)
