Responsibility
1. Responsible for developing the business leads as well as managing the full sales cycle of integrating the Alipay in store payments solutions in the UK, European for Chinese tourist market. You will have an insight into overseas shopping patterns in UK/Europe. Understand the trade link between UK/Europe and the payments methods available to penetrate fully the potentially affluent incoming tourist market coming from Asia.
2. Develop partnerships with the third parties, acquiring banks as well as any possible alignments in order to help Alipay to develop Key Account (KA) merchants;
3. Establish the sound relationship with KA merchants as well as merchants acquiring banks. Responsible for introducing and implementing Alipay in-store payments into KA merchants POS systems.
4. Focusing on expanding Alipay payment acceptance in the UK/Europe, be responsible for challenging Alipay in-store payments transaction volume.
Requirement
1. Very well-connected with European Retailers/merchants
2. Deep understanding of mCommerce in-store payment services/products/solutions.
3. Strong ability in communication and business development. With hunter’s sales skills and pioneering spirit.
4. Working well under pressure with an ability to adapt quickly to strategic changes.
5. Be familiar with Market particularly Chinese market and their buying patterns and insight into their interests within European retail market, including the target merchants and the target categories.
6. Be familiar with best practice and familiarity with the customs and be fully informed how to operate within the Chinese market
7. Minimum of 8 years' working experience in merchant’s development. Experience with cross-regional expire
