The role of Canada Wood is to work closely with Canada’s forest industry and private-sectorparties in China to learn about using wood products in construction and other applications. As a member of the Canada Wood China team, the Technical Coordinator assists the Senior Director on administrative tasks, translation/interpretation, reporting, and works with collaboratively with Canada Wood China’s technical, business development, and government relations team.
Responsibilities:
Working experience in construction industry is preferable.
Good organization skills, responsible and hardworking.
Strong communication ability to coordinate with internal team members, clients, and contacts.
Provide fast, efficient, effective and reliable secretarial support to Technical Support Team.
Support to organize and coordinate meetings, events including traveland hotel arrangements.
Process necessary payment and expense reports.
Customer Relations Management system entries and data output.
Translate PPT, reports and articles from English to Chinese and Chinese to English.
Support cross department administrative tasks.
Travel to job sites and training facilities through out China.
Accompany foreign staff to meetings and events.
Required Skills:
At least 3 years of related work experience.
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Good oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, experienced in planning, coordinating and managing meetings and events.
Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and proactive.
Good computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
CET 6 certificate is required.

COMPETITION:
Communication Intern
Located in - Pudong District, Shanghai
Job Description
Develops Power Points in English and Chinese.
Helps develop internal training platform for staff.
Other miscellaneous tasks supporting the communications team.
Team administrative tasks.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Major in a field such as English, Journalism, Marketing, Social Media or Public Relations preferred.
Good command of Microsoft PowerPoint and comfortable using other online systems.
Strong communication ability to coordinate with internal team members and other teams.
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Fluency in English, native Chinese.
Ability to work 2-3 times a week preferred. Working times can be negotiated.
Graphic design, animation and/or video production would be considered an asset.
