Our client is a dynamic, growing business that specializes in the retail equipment to leading brands and retailers across Europe.
As a member of our procurement function, the Procurement Executive will be responsible for operational activities including support cost estimating, project management and the management of supply through to successful delivery to our clients.
This position involves close liaison with commercial and engineering teams to ensure the smooth flow of work through the business and satisfactory completion of projects on time, within budget and to the company’s quality standards.
Duties
·Project management of all the procurement activities to ensure On Time In Full delivery for the on going projects.
·Ensure and support team responsiveness and customer service requirements.
·Support the team by delivering reports on time, maintaining contact with shippers, processing administrative paperwork e.g. invoices and delivery notes etc.
·Assisting with the analysis of tenders, providing a recommendation, monitoring of the project progress.
·Provide support for achieving agreed target margins and savings for the company.
·Provide support for negotiating supply terms and conditions in line with policies and procedures.
Experience and Attributes
·Fluency in Mandarin and English required.
·Thorough experience of project buying in a bespoke manufacturing or retail environment, preferably with understanding of steel, plastics and print.
·Understanding of import / export processes and documentation.
·Strong organisational, project management and communication skills.
·A proactive approach to problem solving, commercial acumen and an ability to work well under pressure.
·A high level of numeracy and strong attention to detail.
·Competence in Microsoft Office, IT and data analysis.
·A good team player and communicator.
