The mission of our library is to ensure that all students become life-long learners and effective users of ideas and information.
我校图书馆致力于将学生培养成为终身学习者和勤于思考者。
Our library has grown a lot since we’ve first opened our doors three years ago in terms of our book collection. We started with 1200 English books and we now have almost 4000 books. I am happy to announce that we are going to double this number by the end of September with books that will further meet the needs of our students and teachers.
对比三年前建校时图书馆的藏书量，CISH图书馆各类书籍数量大大增加。藏书量从原来的1200本英文书籍增加至现在的4000本。在这里，也很高兴地宣布，到今年9月底，本馆藏书量会在现有数量的基础上再翻一倍，将会更好地满足学生和老师们的需求。
Our students have access to an online research library called Questia.Eight computers are available for students to conduct research assignments and they also have access to reading programs such as Raz Kids.
我校学生可以上网登陆名为Questia的在线学术研究型图书馆。我们有8台电脑提供给学生们进行研究性学习，他们也可以进行阅读课程学习，例如Raz Kids。
One of my role as Teacher-librarian is to provide assistance to students and teachers in their search for materials.I also do read aloud to young children during their weekly scheduled visits at the library.
作为图书管理员，我的其中一个职责就是给寻找资料的学生和老师提供帮助，另外在这里，我也为每周来上图书馆课的孩子们朗读优秀书籍。
I would like to take this opportunity to invite all parents to become library members so you can come sign-out books for yourself or for your child.
