People-to-people and cultural exchange is far morethan just visiting programs, meetings, and theatrical performances. In fact, people-to-peopleand cultural exchange also happens through trade, war, and religious missions. Whilepeople-to-people and cultural exchange has played an important role in thecourse of human history, promoting the development of human society, at timesit has also had less positive connotations. This discussion will explore thehistory of Chinese and foreign exchanges from political, economic, religious, social, and cultural aspects, hoping to gain some wisdom from history and bringsome inspiration to the present.

This event will be conducted in Chinese.
