Dr Rob is a writer, academic and IELTS teacher and examiner. He has been living and teaching in China for over six years.  Before coming to China Dr Rob lectured Sociology at the prestigious University of Exeter in the U.K.  In China, Dr Rob teaches IELTS English and is also the author of three IELTS books, one IELTS speaking book published in Beijing (in Chinese for Chinese students), the other two being an IELTS speaking book and an IELTS writing book.  Dr Rob also works for the translation department of Nanjing University. 

He is also the author of two novels and has written for academic journals, newspapers and magazines internationally.

Rob 博士是一位作家、学者、雅思教师和考官。他在中国生活和教书已经有六年时间了。 在来中国之前，罗布博士在英国的埃克塞特大学教授社会学。 在中国，罗布博士在南京大学翻译系工作的同时写书以及从事雅思教学推广工作。此外，他还是两部小说的作者, 并且是众多学术期刊、报刊和杂志国际撰稿人。
