On 16 July, Holding Redlich was proud to host a luncheon with The Honourable Richard Wynne, the Victorian Minister for Planning, as the guest of honour and speaker. Holding Redlich arranged for 20 specially selected clients to attend the lunch to hear the Minister speak. Christine Wyatt, the Deputy Secretary and Administrative Head of the Planning Department, attended the lunch with the Minister, as did the Minister’s Advisor Jo Bowers. The Minister gave a very detailed and candid presentation on the matters that are of importance and concern to the Andrews government from a planning perspective. The Minister spoke in detail on various issues that were of concern to not only our clients, but to all property developers in Melbourne. The Minister answered questions from guests and was very forthright and honest in his responses. The clients that attended all benefitted from the presentation and insights given by the Minister. A number of clients expressed their gratitude for having been given the opportunity and having had the privilege to meet the Minister and to hear directly from him, his views and the Government’s position, on a number of important issues. All who attended were impressed by the Minister’s honest and candid responses and views on a number of important issues raised.
