9分口语这么说，“物品类”话题轻松拿下!

烤鸭们都知道，雅思口语最常见的话题之一就是物品类的话题，它涉猎很广，从艺术品、照片，到一件配饰，甚至电子产品，包含了我们生活中各方面的物品。目的很简单，就是考察童鞋们观察生活、了解生活的程度，以及对客观存在的事物进行描述的能力。而我们恰巧欠缺的是对物品细节的观察和描述，从而让听者感到茫然，没有重点。试想一下你在一家咖啡店打工，当一个顾客询问你关于某种蛋糕的情况时，如果仅有简简单单的一句“It’s sweet and very delicious.”是根本无法打动人的，顾客很可能直接忽略掉你的回答并且掉头就走。而此时，你更需要的是向顾客详细地描述一下它的口味，里面添加了什么值得一提的材料，比如加了葡萄干还是巧克力豆，还有吃到嘴里首先会有什么感觉，之后又会怎么样，这些细节加起来会完美呈现一块蛋糕的特色，而你的顾客则可能会因为你的描述中有某些他本身喜欢的东西而决定多买一块。当然如果在考试中，烤鸭们可视情况而决定到底应该描述到哪种程度。Anyway，童鞋们的回答中都要包括细节和重点，以及必不可少的与生活的联系。下面小雅哥就来为大家实例分析一个物品类话题：something you saved money to buy~~~

I have saved money to buy a lot of things that I have always wanted but there’s one item that instantly came to my mind and I would like to tell you about this particular item. To purchase a digital camera for my younger sister I had to save money for about 6 months. It was a Canon SLR camera that I knew she had a great desire to purchase. Since she is still in her college, it was really difficult for her to buy such an expensive camera.

After I found a part time job, I planned to buy it for her. I wanted her to be happy with the camera and that’s the primary reason I wanted to buy it. I knew she has a talent in photography and that’s why I wanted her to have a good camera so that she gets inspired. After I went to some branded camera shops, I found that the camera would cost me a bit more than what I would be able to afford. As I have joined a part time job at that time, it was not easy for me to instantly get the camera for my sister. Then I planned to save money for few months and then purchased it. I had to save money for 6-7 months and then I had been able to actually buy it.

Giving presents or surprise gifts to someone we care is more exciting and blissful than purchasing it for ourselves. As her elder brother I wanted to give her the camera so that she becomes happy. I also wanted her to continue her hobby of photography which was quite tough without a good quality camera. For these reasons it was very important for me to purchase her the camera.

Overall, I felt pretty proud and excited to get it for her. It was an incredible feeling that words don’t even begin to describe it! After all, I helped my sister to achieve outstanding academic grades due to those fantastic photos that she has been taking using the camera I bought it so I feel really proud and helpful.
