#欧巴马-中国#2011年1月，欧巴马总统宴请胡锦涛主席，这是超过14年来，中国主席对美国的首次国事访问。欧巴马总统在国宴上敬酒时，重复了一句中国老话：“一年树谷，十年树木，百年树人。”他说，他希望美国和中国可以在友谊中一起成长......在和平中共同繁荣......，为了自己、为了孩子，为了子孙实现自己对未来的梦想。”

In January 2011 President Barack Obama hosted President Hu Jintao for the first State visit by a Chinese president to the United States in thirty years.  In his toast at the State Dinner, President Obama repeated an old Chinese proverb:  “If you want one year of prosperity, then grow grain.  If you want 10 years of prosperity, then grow trees.  But if you want 100 years of prosperity, then you grow people.” He said he wished the United States and China may “grow together in friendship… prosper together in peace…and realize their dream of the future for themselves, for their children, and for their grandchildren.” Click here to see photos from the 2011 State Visit: https://www.whitehouse.gov/photos-and-video/photogallery/president-hu-jintao-china-official-state-visit .
