457签证最近审理速度缓慢，而移民局最近在自动回复的邮件中做了官方说明。
在邮件中，移民局首先是声明他们现在的457审理速度是大约要40个工作日才会被分配到签证官。但是澳城可以很负责任地告诉大家，现在已经有一大批签证申请已经超出了40个工作日。
移民局同时还说明，如果我们递交的申请是“decision－ready“的，通常有可能会在分配到签证官的同时就获批签证。
同时，移民局就给了下面这个表格，详细说明了他们的审理时间：

RFIs – where responses are uploaded through ImmiAccount | 28 | The 28-working day processing timeframe relates to how long we are taking in some instances to further assess an application after the response to an RFI is uploaded in ImmiAccount. Reducing this timeframe is not as high a priority as reducing the time taken to make Initial Assessments because: · The priority on Initial Assessment supports those providing assessment-ready applications · Feedback from 457 processing staff is that RFI responses are often provided in a series of separate uploads to ImmiAccount over the 28-day response period. This means that when cases are allocated inside the 28-day response time, staff often have to put the case on hold while outstanding documents are provided. |
RFIs – where responses are provided via email. | 29 to 56 | The 29 to 56-working day processing timeframe relates to how long we take in some instances to process these cases. Reducing this timeframe is not a high priority because: · As previously stated, our priority is to reduce the time taken to undertake Initial Assessments · For processing efficiency reasons, the Department prefers supporting documents be provided through ImmiAccount. Therefore, we seek to acknowledge ImmiAccount users through faster processing. |
初步审理：
初步审理就是签证官首次审理这个申请。如果签证申请时材料完备的，移民局会希望在初步审理的时候就能做出决定。也就是说，如果你递交的材料完备，移民局可能不要求补充材料，在40个工作日内就批签或者是拒签。这可真是一把双刃剑啊！
与案子相关邮件的回复（不包括移民局要求更多材料的邮件）：
一些容易处理的邮件，比如咨询审理进度、撤案等要求，移民局会在5个工作日内回复。
移民局要求更多材料，并且由immi account上传：
若移民局要求补充材料，并且该补充材料通过immi account上传，移民局会尽量在28个工作日内继续审理。
移民局要求更多材料，并且由邮件提供：
通过邮件补充材料需要29至56个工作日回复。这是因为：
移民局希望全部文件在初步审理的时候结案；
移民局希望你用immi account上传文件。
