Changan UK R&D Centre - based in the Midlands is currently recruiting for a Chinese Speaking HR Generalist / Advisor. This is an exciting career opportunity within a growing, large international car manufacturer.
Play an integral role within the team to provide effective and seamless HR services. To provide both operational and strategic support to the HR team. This is an HR generalist role and the successful candidate will involve in a lot of hand on work in all aspects of HR function as well as the strategic side. Key areas include Resourcing and recruitment, Employee life cycle management, employee relations, performance management, training and development. The successful candidate will also need to support other HR or operational projects as when required.

- Ability to prepare high qualities of documents with minimum supervision

- Strong computer literacy skills

- CIPD qualified
- The successful candidate must be a fluent English and Mandarin speaker
- Support talent acquisition / recruitment function
- Manage training budget and oversees annual training plans and programmes
- Support the management of absence and time keeping
- Advise and support line managers with complex people issues
- Manage disciplinaries and grievance processes
- Management leave and attendance issues
- HR Administration: hands-on support on general HR administration activities, including preparation of contracts, HR document
- Draft, review and monitor HR policies and procedures, ensure policies and procedures support the business needs and comply with legal requirement
- Communicate and liaise with HQ on HR related issues
- Prepare and review Chinese HR documents and reports
- Undertake specific HR projects, providing effective project planning to ensure delivery on time and to the required standard, as and when required
- This role requires someone who is willing to do hands on work and at the same time, demonstrate strategic planning and thinking abilities
- Candidate must have legal right to work in the UK
