说到这边面试常被问及的问题,其实好多貌似都不难答,
但是真正琢磨出面试官为何要问这些问题却是很难的。
你以为你回答了他们的问题,但事实往往和你想象中的不一样。
你要慢慢学会分析他们的用意,猜想他们到底想从你的答案得到什么样的结论和评估。
我们一起来看看这些个问题,不禁回想起了我之前被面时的答案,原来答案在这呀!
面试开始第一问:Please, tell me a little about yourself…
通常大家都是循规蹈矩的一点一点介绍的。但是,千万别就一板一眼的给他们介绍你自己,这些你的简历里有,面试官都是提前看过的。
所以这个问题真正想问的是:
Please, tell me how your past experience and accomplishments make you right for this job.
Tell me how it's a great fit for your career progression and how you'd make a great
asset to the team.
面试必问:So, why are you interested in this particular role?
别只顾着坦诚相待,告诉面试官这份工作对你生活质量提升有什么好处。而是要谈你有多了解这份工作,这家公司,你为什么觉得这里就是你的归宿?
因为面试官真正想问:
So, how much do you know about our company and the nature of the job you are applying for?
Have you done your homework? Is it really this job at this company that motivates you, or are you just trying to score a paycheque from somewhere?
What would you say is your biggest weakness?
别真的就只说自己的缺点,记住这里是面试,可不是忏悔或者心理治疗互助会。你要迅速的反应出自己的缺点,而且更加侧重出你怎么意识到自己的缺点,及计划如何改进。
你真正应该答的问题是:
How self-aware are you?
Can you look at yourself objectively and spot areas for improvement.
More importantly, can you deliver a convincing answer to a difficult question in a pressure situation?
If I asked your current manager to describe you, what would they say?
这边特别看重推荐,如果在你的允许下,很多公司及志愿者组织都是会打电话像你之前或当前的雇主打电话或邮件核实的。
那面试者遇到此类刁难问题该怎么回答呢?尽量说实话,讲出之前或现在老板对你的建议和看法,你自己怎么改善,有无注意团队合作之类。。。
因为面试官其实是想问:
Are you a team player?
Have you received feedback, positive and negative from your current or previous manager and paid attention to the comments?
Are you self-aware? (Because when they call your previous employer they can evaluate how closely your perception of how they describe you matches what they actually say.)
Why should I hire you?
这个问题其实面试官想知道的是:
Are you confident in your ability to excel in the role?
Do you have any special abilities or accomplishments you could highlight that show howyou stand head and shoulders above other applicants?
也就是谈谈自己为何对这份工作有信心,有没有值得强调的能力或成绩,是可以甩开其它面试者几条街的?
If you were ananimal, which one would you be?
虽然这个问题听起来有点傻,可是你必须即时在无准备的情况下说出一个动物,而且要能自圆其说,讲出一些共同点证明为何你和这种动物很像。
因为面试官真正在乎的是:
How quickly can you come up with a smart answer to a question you weren't expecting to be asked?
How are your creative thinking skills? Your communication skills?
Can you explain the metaphor for how your chosen animal represents you in a way that applies to this job?
Where do yousee yourself in five years?
不要在这里只是列出自己宏大的五年计划,而是要侧重谈这份职位对你的职业规划有什么至关作用。
因为面试官更关心的是:
How does this role fit in with your overall career goals?
Will it be a good move for you so that excelling at it will benefit you professionally as well as us?
Or is this just an unrelated job you're taking now to pay the bills while hoping for somethingelse to happen?
Do you have any questions for me?
可别诚实的上来就问:工资多少,什么时候能休年假,工作时间灵活吗。。。更别问在公司网站上或者招聘信息上就能看到的信息。你应该抓住这个最后的回答机会提出一些问题体现出你有多想要这份工作,提出你的一些建设性意见,看是否可行。
因为这才是面试官问这个问题的用意:
How much do you really want the job?
Are you already thinking about how to contribute?
How serious are you about working here and being a part of the team?
