This program will be conducted in English.

Gideon's Trumpet is a book based on Gideon v. Wainwright, a seminal U.S. Supreme Court that ruled criminal defendants, are entitled to legal counsel even if they cannot afford it.  This is the showing of the made-for-television movie of Gideon's Trumpet, starring Henry Fonda.  After the movie showing, a short discussion with the audience will be facilitated by Ye-Ting Woo, the U.S. Department of Justice, Resident Legal Advisor.

This program is not suitable for children under 6.
