Our Client is an established, privately owned and successful globally operating business who are seeking a Chinese speaking Operations Coordinator to work from their UK offices in London.
The Company is looking for a candidate to join their Head Office in London, although operates in other parts of the UK and world-wide. This fast growing Company is looking for a self-starter who is enthusiastic and willing to jump in and roll their sleeves up. In return, the successful candidate will get exposure to all areas of the business and play an important part in an entrepreneurial team.
- Responsible for answering and returning telephone calls in a timely and polite manner, converting calls to reservations and booking via the Company reservation software
- Managing generic outlook email inboxes and responding to clients and hotels emails the same day
- Booking meetings with hotel members and managing them from initial enquiry through to confirmed status
- Responsible for the provision of support for all new and existing hotels
- Be the main point of contact for all aspects of support for the hotels
- Effectively respond to all hotel questions and requirements made via the Company ticketing system, live chat and telephone
- Ensure that the full information is collected from the hotel to effectively provide solutions to the query or question
- Ensure that support issues are responded to and resolved within the Company service levels
- Escalating to the Line Manager where the Service Levels may be compromised
- Effectively communicate with third party service providers for the efficient resolution of issues
- Actively support the Implementations Team in completing all required forms, documents and systems involved in the implementation process for hotels
- Communicate with all departments internally where appropriate passing possible sales leads to Business Development for new product sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate records within the Company Customer Relationship Management system on all issues raised and resolved for reporting purposes
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of all systems used within the Company and made available to hotels
- Carrying out various project works within fixed deadline dates set
- Ensuring that the hotels comply with Company standards
- Deal with any complaints quickly and professionally
- This role will suit someone who has meticulous attention to detail, is able to work independently on multiple projects at the same time and has a 'can do' attitude.
- This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday and will also requires the flexibility to work weekends (approx. 1 in 5) on a rota basis
- The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use bespoke systems (although full training will be given)
- Experience of the customer service industry preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent command of English both spoken and written
- Excellent command of Chinese, both spoken and written
- An additional language an advantage
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Word and Excel
