This position will suit an experienced accounts manager, with extensive Sage experience to work in an extremely friendly working environment. As accounts manager you will be reporting to the Finance Controller.
- Using MS Access database calculate all UK / Overseas examiner timesheet payment for the fees and expenses payable on monthly basis based on detailed payment policy, generating payment receipt and deal with payment queries
- Process all purchase invoices and update on daily cashflow forecast as per standard payment terms
- Monitoring / forecasting various examination expenses for internal control purpose for each exam session
- Generate sales invoices as requested by other colleagues
- Credit control
- Company credit card posting and cost analysis
- Assist with cashflow forecast
- Log cheques received, deposit and post accordingly
- Process customer refund and raise supplier cheque payment when requested
- Petty cash control
- Manage Timesheet and Accounts email inbox
- Taking phone calls for Accounts department
- Filing of all financial records
- Other tasks upon request like ad hoc analysis and management accounts tasks
- A minimum of 7 years accounting experience
- Fluency in English and the ability to communicate in Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Experience dealing with foreign currency transactions
- Strong experience of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Access
- ACCA / ACA membership or finalist
- VAT knowledge in Education industry preferred
- Knowledge of management accounts preferred
- Excellent written communication in both English and Mandarin
- Good telephone manner
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Able to work under pressure during busy exam periods
