As a member of the Canada Wood China team, the Department Coordinator assists the Senior Director on administrative tasks, translation/interpretation, and reporting. The Department Coordinator reports to the Senior Director, Technical Services in Shanghai and works with collaboratively with Canada Wood China’s technical, business development, and government relations team.
Responsibilities:
Workingexperience in construction industry is preferable
Good organization skills, responsible and hardworking
Strong communication ability to coordinate with internal team members, clients, and contacts
Provide fast, efficient, effective and reliable secretarial suppor to Technical Support Team
Support to organize and coordinate meetings, events including traveland hotel arrangements
Process necessary payment and expense reports
Customer Relations Management system entries and data output
Translate PPT, reports and articles from English to Chinese and Chinese to English
Support cross department administrative tasks
Travel to job sites and training facilities through out China
Accompany foreign staff to meetings and events
Required Skills:
At least 3 years of related work experience
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
Good oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, experienced in planning,coordinating and managing meetings and events
Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and proactive
Good computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
CET 6 certificate is required
COMPETITION:
Training Specialist
Located in - Pudong District, Shanghai
Report to - Training Manager
Job Description
Deliver instruction for short workshops and multi-week courses
Prepare materials and tools for training events
Create new training courses and modules
Accompany technical staff on jobsite visits
Revise course curriculum materials
Maintain relationships with builders, vocational schools and students from industry
Support cross department tasks
Draft reports
Customer Relations Management system entries and dataoutput
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years work experience as an Architect or Engineer
Excellent organization skills to manage training courses including materials, tools, facilities, and guest speakers.
Experienced in delivering presentations, instruction, andmanaging the learning experience for participants
Strong understanding of the design and construction approval processes
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarinskills for report and technical writing. CET 4 level English is required.
Good computer skills in Auto CAD, Sketchup, MS Office software
Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and proactive
