作文想要得到高分，用词多变是关键之一。以下是一些作文中的常用替换词，给各位烤鸭小伙伴们一个灵感！但同时，有些替换词是不能直接套用的哦！因为词义虽相近，但却不尽相同。Through --- in terms of --- viaThrough可以表达 “通过…”的意思~ in terms of… 是 “在…方面”， “就…而言”的意思~ Via有一种 “通过…路径” 的意思~Through: moving in one side and out of the other side.In terms of: with regard to the particular aspect or subject specified.Via: by way of, by means of.Operate 相信大家都认识，代表 “操作”；manipulate 也是 “操纵，利用，操作”.Operate: control the functioning of (a machine, process, or system)Manipulate: handle or control (a tool, mechanism, information, etc.) in a skilful manner; control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly or unscrupulously.从以上定义不难看出，operate多数是用来表示操作机器/流程/系统等，但是manipulate在这层意思之外，还能表达出一种 “按照自己喜好来操作别人思想、表现的意思”，这一点和中文的 “操控”比较接近。所以大家在使用的时候，要小心这个区别哦~Inevitable --- indispensable第一次看到这两个词作为一组替换，无忧小雅哥着实有点摸不着头脑。因为从解释上看来，这两个词其实差的有点远，要怎么替换？Inevitable代表 “不可避免的”；indispensable是 “不可缺少的”的意思。我们来看一下英文的解释，更深入的了解一下这两个词的意思：Inevitable: certain to happen, unavoidable.Indispensable: absolutely necessary.Inevitable有一种 “无法避免的”的意思；indispensable则是“非常需要”的意思。其实差别还不小。所以这两个词有时候是无法直接转换的。It is the inevitable flow of history.Do you understand the inevitable trade-off between growth and equity?After a night’s sleep the news is as indispensable as the breakfast.Perhaps it is even indispensable as a preliminary statement.所以大家千万不要看到一些词汇替换的表格，就以为这两个词是可以直接替换的。其实有些并不是这样哦！~一定要注意用法，不然LR的分数也无法得到提升！这两个词相信大家都认识，不用无忧小雅哥和悉尼雅思姐多做解释啦！如果有时候想要形容 “确切的，特别的”的时候，可以用specific，在某种程度上specific可以用来代替detail。Hurt是伤害的意思，vulnerable是 “易受…伤害”的意思。小伙伴们如果想要用hurt来描述伤害…的话，可以试着换一下思维，用… is vulnerable这样的表达，换一下语序，是不是GRA和LR都漂亮了不少？Vulnerable: exposed to the possibility of being attached or harmed, either physically or emotionally.True: in accordance with fact or reality; accurate or exact.Accurate: (especially of information, measurements, or predictions) correct in all details, exact.在True的解释中都出现了accurate这个词，所以大家在平时写作文或者考口语的时候，一般都可以用accurate来代替true，有一层更精确的意思。More and more---increasing/growing这个more and more，曾经有段时间都快成了中国学生写作的 “必备”啦！基本上每个小烤鸭的文章中都会出现more and more，更有甚者在一篇250字的task 2中用了好几次more and more。虽然现在大部分的学生都知道不要再用more and more这个词组，但是有什么可以替代的呢？在大家想用more and more来表达越来越…的时候，可以考虑使用increasing/growing这两个词来替代。more and more people tend to… 可以改写成 there are an increasing number of people… 这样是不是就好很多了呢！Want --- intend to/ be inclined toWant to do是很多学生都会想到的表达方式，但似乎没有那么 “高级”。如果想要换一种比较 “Advanced”的说法来表达 “想要…”这层意思，可以用intend to do, 以及 I’m inclined to do…。 但是他们之间也有一些程度上的不同：Intend: have (a course of action) as one’s purpose or intention, plan.Incline: be favourable disposed towards or willing to do something; have a tendency to do something.Be prone, have/show a tendency, be likely 等等。小伙伴们如果要使用这些近义词，一定要了解各个词的用法以及句中的语法问题哦！千万不能直接套用上去以后就算搞定了哦！Probably: almost certainly, as far as one know or can tell.这个词不算难啦！大家基本都知道该如何使用Probably这个词~ 有时候在写作中，may be的表达不够正式不够书面，就可以考虑使用probably哦！Arouse --- stimulate/ motivate Arouse: evoke or awaken (a feeling, emotion, or response)Stimulate: raise levels of physiological or nervous activity in (the body or any biological system); encourage or arouse interests or enthusiasm in.Motivate: provide (someone) with a reason for doing something.这三个词不能算是意思完全一致，但是在某种程度上，还是可以互相替换的。正如Stimulate的解释之一encourage or arouse interests or enthusiasm in所说的那样， arouse和motivate都可以代表激起…的兴趣 + 鼓动… 的意思~Key --- crucial/vital/consequentialKey: or crucial importance.Crucial: decisive or critical, especially in the success or failure of something.Vital: absolutely necessary, essentialConsequential: following as a result or effect; important, significant.从这几个词的解释中不难看出，大家都有：非常重要 的意思。同时，consequential也能代表”结果”这层意思。不过这些词的 “重要性”都比较高，level比较高，大家在使用的时候要小心，不要一些小事小情况也写成crucial/vital/key的，程度上就过头啦！Expect: regard (something) as likely to happen.Anticipate: regard as probably, expect or predict但是有一个小区别，就是说expect有一种个人意愿想要发生的意思~这个词的替换是为了给大家一个idea，以后想要写big city大都市的时候，可以直接用metropolis这个哦~ 平时如果经常网购的同学，可能会发现Melbourne Metropolis area，Sydney Metropolis area，就是代表城市范围哦~Law making --- legislation制定法律的一个书面用语就是legislation，名词，代表the process of making/enacting laws.今天整理的这些替换词，是为了提醒大家有些替换词可以直接替换，有些却是有区别，无法乱套用的哦！大家在背诵一些替换词的时候，一定要多一个心眼，注意一下词与词之间的区别。这样会提升用词的准确性Accuracy 哦！
