同很多其他的移民国家一样,新西兰技术移民也会发生Interview,但是网上很少有帮助大家过新西兰interview的可用参考资料,所以小编就整理了一些具体问题和材料,帮助更多技术移民的朋友顺利过关interview。
申请新西兰技术移民发生面试,在某些情况下是积级因素,某些情况下则是不利因素导致,因此不能一概而论发生面试一定是好事,或一定就是坏事,要分具体情况定论。目前只有已经在新西兰技能就业、并且雅思也符合条件的申请人,才不会被面试,直接下PR。
被要求面试,往往是属于以下几种情况
1、移民局对申请人某些材料或资历产生真实性的怀疑;
2、申请人通过新西兰本地工作经验来要求豁免雅思;
3、申请人属海外无job offer申请;
第一种情况,移民局对申请人某些材料或资历产生真实性的怀疑。
因为这个原因发生面试的可能非常低,但是仍然少量存在。首先是持有工作担保的人申请移民,新西兰移民局在向申请人发出ITA后,随后所进行的材料审理环节,就已经会对申请人的材料进行详细核实与全面评估,如果存在疑问,往往通过发质疑信的方式要求申请人进行书面答复或做出进一步的材料补充,在补充材料以后,移民官就会做出决定,认可你的解释或不接受你的解释。但在某些时候,移民官始终怀疑你工作担保的真实性,但是又无法写出已撑握充分证据的拒签信。
此时,如果移民官若草率做出错误的决定,会导致对申请人产生不公平或损害到新西兰的国家利益。在这种情况下,面试就会发生,通过面试,移民官可以通过多种询问方式与技巧来找到你的纰漏,进而写出有理有据的拒签信;当然,另一种可能是成功认可了你工作担保的真实性。
其次无工作担保申请,由于新西兰存在下签与拒签的第三种结果——WTR,移民官不用像对待那些持有工作担保的申请人那样,非常纠结于到底是下签还是拒签,而是顺坡下驴给WTR。
第二种情况,申请人通过新西兰本地工作经验来要求豁免雅思。
新西兰的技术移民政策比较灵活,其政策目的是确定申请人对新西兰的贡献作用与安居能力,对于某些英语实在无法达到雅思6.5要求,但是已经在新西兰工作了两年或多年,做出了纳税贡献并且以后完全有能力继续当纳税人的人,移民局是会视情况给予居留权的,能提供一份工整的工资税单,也可以证明正是因为有你在新西兰的辛勤劳动,才养活了移民官(公务员)。
对于这一类申请人,由于已经确定了对新西兰的贡献能力,英语能力要求可以得到一定程度的降低或豁免,移民局往往会通过面试的方式,来判断申请人的英语能力是否至少可以应付日常工作与生活的需求,这一标准实际上是比较低的,只有移民局通过面试后,得出结论“申请人的英文水平极为有限,甚至无法理解关于生日是几号的问题”,才会被拒签。
第三种情况,申请人属无job offer申请。
虽然现在160分情况下,海外申请技术移民无job offer有点难度,但是移民局也没有硬性规定没有job offer就不能申请技术移民,只要分数足够还是可以申请的。
对于无工作担保的申请人,如果移民局通知面试,这是一件非常好的事情,说明移民局认为你可能具备直接获得PR的能力,但是需要进一步面试才能确定你将来对新西兰的贡献能力与安居能力。如果已经进入了审理的最后阶段,移民局并未通知你面试,只有两种可能:1、移民官已经决定给你WTR;2、你的条件非常优秀,足够移民官相信你的就业与安居能力,已经决定给你PR。其中属于2的情况是极少的,所以大部分无新西兰雇主工作担保申请到新西兰PR的人,几乎都是顺利通过了移民局面试考验的申请人。
在面试时,你需要向移民官证明你有能力在新西兰找到技术性的工作,这也是移民官对你发出面试通知的主要目的。
以下是我总结出来的一点面试经验,供大家参考:
首先是面试前的准备,移民局的面试分为两种,如果你所在的城市离移民局办公室很近(中国境内只有北京和上海有办公室),移民局则会通知你face to face面试;如果你距离遥远,移民局有可能会用电话面试的方式。其次整个面试过程可能持续30-60分钟,面试官就是你的移民官,通常由1~2位洋人与一位华人组成(新西兰境内发生的面试,均是本地洋人,顶多出现一个印裔CO),你必须用英语完成整个面试过程。
1,在收到移民官的面试通知后,提前做出一些准备,将一些涉及要用到的材料打印出来,方便需要用到时提供给签证官查阅,另外记得带上通知信与你的身份证件。
2. 面试时职业装并不是必须的,但是着装要得体整洁,男士请擦亮皮鞋、夹克、皮包等,女士可化淡装,香水味不宜过浓,配饰要简洁。
3. 与移民官交谈时要正视移民官的眼睛,忌目光游离不定,其次不要出现紧张的迹象,如坐姿僵直,手指紧握等。
4. 与移民官交谈时要仔细听清移民官的每一个问题,并针对性的进行回答,要有保持清晰、简洁的回答与真诚的态度,不宜长篇大论,也不要吹嘘自己在进入新西兰后,将来一定能建立丰功伟业。
5. 如果遇到非常棘手的问题,可以稍加思考,不用急于回答;对于被误解的回答要及时澄清,但是要注意礼貌。当表达有困难时,也尽量不要出现任何中文回答(虽然中国的KIWI CO可能略懂中文)。
关于为什么要移居新西兰时,可以往有利于职业发展,向往不同文化,换一种生活方式上靠拢,注意不要提及新西兰有良好的福利保障制度,更不要向移民官抱怨你现在的生活太累,也不要说出“不喜欢中国,在中国太痛苦”之类的话。
关于在新西兰的就业能力以及为什么认为自己有能力定居新西兰的问题,主要围绕在你已有的受教育经历、工作经历、以及求职能力与入境后的计划等方面。
移民官非常在意你过去的工作经历,特别是在新西兰或中国海外的工作经历,主要涉及的问题如是哪个国家哪一家公司,什么职位,每天的工作内容,是否满意等,提及过去的工作经历以及离职原因时不要表述“主观性”的观点,比如在这家管理混乱,根本没有前途等等。其次是你过去的工作是如何得到的,你都有哪些求职的经历,回答上应该突出自己独立求职的能力。你对新西兰的就业环境是否了解?都有哪些了解?你将来将会通过哪些方式求职?为什么你认为自己一定可以找到skill工作?如果找不到怎么办?回答这些问题,你需要对新西兰的就业环境提前做出了解,比如说通过报纸、网络、机构求职时,要能准确说出名称。去求职网站求职时,要能准确地说出新西兰当地知名求职网站的名称或网址,比如treademe或seek,其次求职寻求第三方帮助时,要能准确说出新西兰的官方机构名字Work and Income,报纸为The New Zealand Herald。
为了尽可能地避免WTR,你应该告诉移民官,你已经做了详细的招聘市场调查,并告之你的调查结果,并且告知你完全符合新西兰雇主的招聘要求。当问到你的行业就业方向上时,你最好已经了解了新西兰与你专业相关的行业的某些公司或机构名称,并且能准确的说出名字,比如你有意去AAA、BBB、CCC这几家公司应聘。
你对新西兰市场的了解程度,将对你的评估产生重要影响,当移民官问你如果找不到工作怎么办时,你可以回答往找相关职位的工作上靠拢,并举例说出具体相关职位名称,并且告之自己的详细调查结果,同时认为就业非常容易(要拿出实质证据),不要提及换一份完全与自己专业毫不不相关的职位(如果你本专业都找不到相关工作,换专业更不具备条件,更何况移民局就是冲你的学历与资历背景才向你发出移民邀请,不要中计),无论如何也要突出自实其力的人生态度。
除求职以外,移民官还要大量问到关于新西兰教育、生活费用、住房情况等,比如:你是否知道在新西兰生活一周要花费多少钱?登陆后你住在哪里?新西兰的房租是多少?生病了怎么办?登陆后家人如何安排?你回答得越详细,移民官就会进一步挖掘得更深,同时进一步说明你对新西兰的了解非常细致且有深度。如果你的回答了出现了一连串的“不知道,可能,我猜,我估计,不清楚”,或者你只是一般性的浅层了解,移民官就会直接进入下一个问题,显然,你的回答是不能让移民官满意的。
最后一个重点是,回答时不要撒谎,移民官非常善长就一个可疑问题步步紧逼,连串发问。
