The University is embarking on an exciting new teaching partnership with Dalian University of Technology in China to offer undergraduate degree programmes in Chemistry and Engineering.

The partnership between the University of Leicester and Dalian University of Technology (DUT) gained formal PRC Ministry of Education approval in March 2017 to establish the Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology.

In this exciting and varied new role, you will provide professional services leadership for the Dalian Leicester Institute (DLI) working with the Director and English Dean of the Institute and colleagues across both universities to effectively manage and develop the partnership You will be based in Leicester but will spend significant periods of time at DUT’s Panjin Campus in China.

As the ideal candidate, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), be bilingual in English and Mandarin with relevant Higher Education experience, for example in developing and managing international partnerships. You will need to be willing to travel as necessary, and spend significant periods working at the Panjin Campus. Excellent oral and written skills in both languages are essential in order to communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels.

The length of stay in China may vary dependant on individual visa restrictions.
