The role
The firm is looking for 2 banking and finance lawyers; one with experiencein general B+F and the other with specific expertise in DCM.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:
Have at least 3-4 years PQE
Have experience in either generalbanking and finance (mainly in acquisition and leveraged or corporate finance) orDCM.
Trained at a top tier or internationalAustralian or New Zealand law firm and has worked on complex transactions valuedin access of $250 million
Exceptional academics (will onlyconsider candidates with First or Second Class Honours)
Mandarin language skills are essential(proficiency in reading/writing etc)
Strong technical capabilities
Ability to commit to 2 years ina foreign jurisdiction
Preference to commence in early2018

We are currently seeking an Activities and Retail Supervisor (Chinese Speaking)to assist the Senior Supervisor with the daily operation of the following areasin our Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre:
Retail Centre operations
Activities Desk operations
Museum operations
Theatre and Planetarium operations
New Zealand Post operations
In this hands-on role you will be required to:
Work in all of the above areas,displaying strong leadership to the team
Assist and support the team inproduct training, customer service techniques, sales skills and conflict resolution
Assist the Manager in interviewing,hiring, and evaluating staff, and resolving any staff concerns
Conduct cashiering duties includingForeign Exchange, activity vouchers and end of shift balancing
Sell goods to customers and provideadvice/information on our products and services including both Hotel owned and operatedactivities as well as those in the local area
Restock shelves and organise productdisplays
Explore the potential of servicesthat would further enhance the Visitor Experience
Ability to organise, host andhandle large groups such as schools and conferences in the theatre and the technicalrequirements of such groups

You will ideally have experience/competency in some/all of the followingareas:

Health & Safety practices
In depth knowledge of the Icebreakerbrand product
Use of an on-line reservation system
Cash handling
Knowledge of the local Mt Cookarea, the wider Mackenzie area's activities and transport options
Troubleshooting maintenance andtechnical issues in the planetarium, with the assistance of our Maintenance teamand IT specialists
An understanding of New Zealand'sdomestic and international postal procedures
An interest in Astronomy
Ability to speak Chinese
