The Coordinator, Corporate Communications, is a core member of the Corporate Communications team. He/She supports the team and coordinates with other functional teams within China Enterprise to ensure effective communications with stakeholders and effective internal communication. The Coordinator, Corporate Communications reports to Director, Corporate Communications.
COORDINATION AND REPORTING:
· Works independently with different functional teams and key stakeholders to produce required reports and other English materials on schedule;
· Keep track of activities of other CW China teams to leverage opportunities for stakeholder communications.
· Manages English-language communication materials inventory
· Other duties as required.
STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATIONS:
· Contributes to the implementation of a comprehensive stakeholder communications strategy to increase the awareness and understanding of CW China’s activities and organizational priorities with key industry and government stakeholders in Canada.
· Helps implement programs and activities that support efficient and implementation of missions by government and industry stakeholders and other major events;
· Works closely with Director, Corporate Communications on preparing corporate reports, including coordinating the collection of information from various departments accordingly to ensure timely submission;
· Independently project manages and/or prepares presentations, brochures,and other communication material (e.g. infographics) that support stakeholder communications. Some translation work may also be needed;
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS:
· Propose and supports effective ways to enhance dialogue with internal stakeholders to support understanding, alignment and commitment towards business goals.
· Independently project manages and prepares material to support internal communication.
· Responsible for compiling monthly internal staff newsletter.
· Completion of an undergraduate degree or professional certificate in a related field plus 5years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
· Experience managing issues with tact, diplomacy and good judgment;
· Experience in communication would be an asset;
· Experience working for an international company in construction industry would be an asset.
· Drive, enthusiasm and organization skills to plan and implement events through to successful completion;
· Excellent language skills in English and Mandarin, both written and oral;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying tact,diplomacy, and professionalism;
· Ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a valuable team member;
· Ability to work with and maintain confidential information or information of a sensitive nature.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, simplify complex problems and focus on priorities.
