公共会计师协会(IPA)宣布新成员加入团队，他的到来将帮助进一步推动会计专业教育领域的领导力。
IPA表示，Gary Pflugrath将被任命为IPA项目和学历教育的执行总经理。
他将领导IPA学历教育项目，监督IPA的学习和发展框架，并进一步深入其研究议程。
Pflugrath先生曾先后担任国际会计师联合会公共政策和管理的资深总监，澳大利亚储备银行和新南威尔士大学的高级职位。
IPA首席执行官Andrew Conway表示，任命Pflugrath先生是继续提升专业教育水平的重大举措。
Conway先生说，“在去年加强专业课程方面，同迪肯大学共同打造出成熟的IPA学历教育项目后，我们认识到需要提高标准并确保成员在瞬息万变的专业环境中具有竞争优势，通过任命Gary作为专业实践教授，我们与迪肯大学的合作关系也将持续加强。”

IPA educational credentials lifted with appointment
The Institute of Public Accountants has announced a new member will be joining itsteam as part of a further push of its educational leadership within theaccounting profession.
The IPA said Gary Pflugrath will be appointed to the role of executive generalmanager of IPA program and qualifications.
He will be leading the IPA program as well as overseeing the learning anddevelopment framework of the IPA and provide further insight into its researchagenda.
Mr Pflugrath was previously senior director of public policy and governance withthe International Federation of Accountants.
Other past experience includes senior roles within the Reserve Bank of Australia andthe University of New South Wales.
IPA chief executive Andrew Conway said the appointment of Mr Pflugrath was asignificant move to continue to lift the bar on education within theprofession.
“When we enhanced our professional program last year to become a fully-fledged MBAwith Deakin University, it was in recognition of the need to raise the bar andensure that members had the competitive edge in a fast-changing, professionalenvironment,” Mr Conway said.
“Our on going relationship with Deakin University has also been enhanced with Gary’sappointment as Professor of Professional Practice.
“I am looking forward to working with Gary to provide the best qualification andeducation outcomes for our members, along with welcoming his influence in ourresearch.”
