#大使走四方# 在这次河南之行里，布兰斯塔德大使应邀出席了第九届中美癌症研究前沿论坛暨第六届郑州国际癌症论坛。1985-1991年，美中两国医学专家就曾在河南林县进行了两项针对预防食管癌、胃癌的临床实验，并找到了可降低此类癌症致死率的营养化合物。回顾两国在癌症医疗上的成功合作案例，大使说，当美中携手合作，我们将能取得更多更大的进步。

#Amb on the road# In his trip to Henan, Ambassador Branstad was invited to attend the 9th China-US Cancer Research Frontier Forum and the 6th Zhengzhou International Cancer Forum. From 1985 to 1991, medical experts from the United States and China conducted two clinical trials in the prevention of esophageal and gastric cancers in Linxian County, Henan Province, and found nutrition supplementation that could reduce the mortality rate of these two cancers. Looking back at the successful cooperation between the two countries in cancer medical treatment, the ambassador said that we will be able to make more and greater progress when the United States and China work together.
