Salary: CNY14,759 to CNY17,364 per month (before tax) depends on candidate’s experience and qualification
This is a temporary position based in Austrade Shanghai office. This role will work closely with the Trade Commissioner and the China marketing team to support the delivery of initiatives that will:
promote Australian industry capability in China
raise awareness of trade opportunities in China to Australian businesses
position Australia as a leading provider of quality education in China, and
Duties:
Advise the China team on marketing policy and issues. Monitor and maintain supplies of marketing collateral for the China team, such as the corporate flyer, industry factsheets, folders, bags, t-shirts, lanyards, banners, videos and gifts, and ensure reception areas are full-stocked and tidy.
Produce event invitations and newsletters for auto customers, clean tech clients, cleantech investors and education agents, and manage the relationship with the external email management system (EMS) providers in China and Australia.
Provide advice on the usage of the Australian Trade Commission crest and the Australia Unlimited and Future Unlimited brand marks by to the China team as well as by third parties.
Perform basic in-house design work using Adobe Creative Suite software.
Keep the general, industry and event information on www.austrade.gov.au/china up to date, work with the Communication Manager to publish news and media stories, and advise the industry teams on the Study in Australia China website www.studyinaustralia.gov.au/china.
Maintain understanding of branding and advertising policy, templates and systems and train the China Marketing team and wider China team.
Keep up to date with marketing practices in China and around the world and leverage opportunities to collaborate with other members of Team Australia.
Contribute to corporate projects such as the regular corporate map updates, Retail BrandIdentity Guidelines, and the Austrade corporate gift project.
Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with media and social media activities where necessary.
Maintain Austrade standards and implement its policies, including diversity in the workplace, ethical practice and occupational health and safety principles and compliance with audit requirements.
Selection Criteria:
Minimum four five years’ experience in marketing and brand promotion in multi-national organisation.
Superior written and verbal communications skills in English.
Hands-on experience with contemporary marketing tools including social media, graphic design, printing, multimedia, sponsorship and events
Experience in managing suppliers of these within tight budgets and deadlines.
Well-developed organisational and project management skills and attention to detail. Commitment to high standards, and to taking the initiative and responsibility for delivering outcomes.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team; good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range ofstakeholders.
